Speaker Bios: 

Nsombi B. Ricketts - Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Johnson at Cornell University

Nsombi B. Ricketts joined Johnson at Cornell as the Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in 2009.  In her current role she is responsible for diverse MBA admissions, developing the school's overall diversity and inclusion strategy, and leading initiatives to recruit, develop and support diverse students. Nsombi represents Johnson on The Consortium’s Board of Trustees and the GMAC Diversity Advisory Group. Prior to Johnson, Nsombi was the Manager of Diverse Talent Acquisition at American Express, where she was responsible for developing the national diversity recruiting strategy and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Nsombi is a 2006 Consortium for Graduate Study in Management alumna and earned her MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. She was the President of Goizueta’s Black MBA Association and received the Global Multicultural Leader Award for establishing Goizueta's Diverse Leadership Conference. Nsombi was also honored in 2012 with the Consortium 10 Year Anniversary Alumni Award from Goizueta Business School. Nsombi received her BS in Psychology from Northwestern University, and was a Director of Marketing at Kaplan Test Prep before business school. 


Christine E. Sneva - Director of Admissions & Financial Aid, Johnson at Cornell University 

Christine Sneva has been at Johnson at Cornell for the past five years in the admissions and financial aid office and recently was the director of the international exchange program.  Currently, she provides leadership and oversight of Johnson admissions and financial aid for the residential MBA programs and continues to create the strategic vision for the admissions process to achieve enrollment targets and craft a diverse class.  She is a member of the QS World MBA Tour Board and Graduate Management Admission Council.  Christine also serves as a member of the Park Leadership Fellowship committee which selects over 90 finalists and awards over 20 full-tuition scholarships for Johnson.  Christine has worked in graduate management education for a decade and holds a bachelor degree in finance and a master degree in higher education administration.
